Pastor
Pastor A.R. Jamal is a native New Yorker and an active pastor in the Red Hook community. He has extensive experience counseling youth both in the Red Hook Houses and in his prison ministry. He has focused on bringing Red Hook area religious congregations together to face the challenging needs of the area’s youth, encouraging better relationships between the community, the local government, the police, and the Black Lives Matter Movement.
